Also, I just talked with Polly, she is still feeling pretty buggy and won't be singing with us again this week. I've left a message inviting Zeb to join us. Bill is out of town this week. Tom is preaching this time (Larry is in California for Karia's graduation). I am assuming that he'll be playing for the service, but have a backup if he chooses not to. Soon, we should also have Julie playing keyboard with us. There's a lot of stuff happening.
I look forward to seeing you in the morning,
Daniel

As it happened, we did not have communion... ironic since that was the first time in several months it was remembered without coaching.
Overall we had a good service. Practice felt a little more chaotic (to me), but everyone was having fun... so it worked out well.
I broke TWO (2) strings... I never break strings! (thank you Jonathan for your re-stringing ability) I was quiet in my monitor. I was probably unconciously strumming harder than normal. I should have asked to be turned up a little bit.
Adam did a great job of picking up the idea of the drum part on Forever. He made it possible to do the song!
Tom's message was very poignant.... and I will never look at brownies the same again. As I remember it: 1) If something is obviously wrong.. don't do it. 2) We can be distracted or deceived away from doing what's right. Don't allow that to happen. 3) In order to get through some things, you must be prepared ahead of time.
AND even a little bit of a bad thing... is still a bad thing.
Ok, that's enough words today :-)
