This week we were missing Polly, and Bill was running the sound board. Also, Tom had a week off and Josh played bass. Julie played piano and Prisha sang with us, but we didn't have Mark this time.
Practice felt somewhat weird with technical problems emerging... Josh's amp was doing a piglet impression and my acoustic tried emulating the natural sound of a turnip (silence). I suspect that the battery died. Adam was having monitor problems.
In spite of some significant changes in the band for this week and brand new music, the service went pretty well.

Next week, Bethany and I will both be gone. In our absence, we've invited John H to come and lead worship (with the rest of the team). We anticipate that John will sing and lead with acoustic guitar. Tom will be playing bass. Mark may be available to play (electric guitar/piccolo bass). Adam on drums. Julie is available for piano. Vocals will be John, Prisha, Zeb (?), and Bill.

The following week, I will be gone. Bethany will be leading. I don't know who is available yet.

Over the next while, we may try to set up a calendar so that there is less ambiguity about who is playing each week. We also need to have a more structured way to communicate when members will be gone.

This is a great team! It is a wonderful thing to be a part of it. :-)
